Blooming in Bali
A day before we jetted back to Canada from Bali in early June, our head designer Anna and I spent the day cruising the island on our scooters and grabbing a few snaps in the new Gardenia collection. At the beautiful Berawa beach we shot the Adinda Wrap Dress and Makala Jumpsuit just as the sun was coming up, with waves splashing in the background and surfers paddling out into the ocean. This beach is part of a popular stretch in the Canggu area and has been one of our favourites for years! We love participating in Berawa’s weekly beach clean-ups and grabbing a drink at the local spots along the sand to take in the Bali's stunning sunsets.
Afterwards, we stopped by the infamous Coffee Cartel Cafe in Seminyak. This spot is known for their pink lattes and customizing the foam of your drink. Of course we got TAMGA written on our latte, and sat back to enjoy it in the Dalia Shift Dress. If you hit up this cafe, make sure you go around the side to take a pic next to their pink cactus mural (just like we did!)
After a hit of caffeine, we jumped on the scooter in the Gone Girl Tank and Zane Kimono and hit up the shops for some last minute gift shopping! Some of our favourite boutiques in Bali are Drifter (they have a growing selection of ethically made and sustainable brands) and Buddha Wear (they product ethical basics and have several give-back initiatives). If you’ve never been, you might not know that Bali has some of the most stunning villas in the world! When we passed one with 'SMILE' written on its entryway we had to stop for some pics. To say the least, we were smiling ear to ear that day in our favorite Gardenia pieces! Make sure to scroll below and check out all the photos from our adventurous day 😊
