TAMGA Designs is a Canadian fashion label creating clothing from the world’s most innovative and sustainable materials. We exist to prove that sustainability is the future of fashion, while designing creative solutions to environmental and social problems.

THE LOCATION

TAMGA is based at 10 Dundas St. East in the heart of downtown Toronto, but our staff work from wherever they’re most productive. If you’re not based in Toronto but are comfortable working remotely, feel free to apply.

Graphic Designer

What you will do:

  • Work with the Creative Director to design and edit TAMGA images using Photoshop and Illustrator;
  • Communicate our social and environmental mission through creative design;
  • Design promotional and branding materials;
  • Communicate our social and environmental mission through creative design;
  • Learn about user-focused design – using insights from online analytics to create effective images.

What we're looking for:

  • Student or graduate with some formal training in graphic design
  • Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop;
  • Interest in sustainable fashion and social business (no prior experience required);
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Confident decision-maker;
  • Some knowledge of social media marketing is an asset;
  • Experience in video is helpful but not mandatory;

What the position looks like:

  • 10-15 hours per week;
  • 3 month term, with the potential to extend to 6 months;
  • Toronto or remote base, must be available for in-person or online meetings at least twice per week.

Growth Analyst

TAMGA is seeking a highly motivated growth analyst who’s interested in turning insights into action. Students of business and analytics will find this position highly rewarding, with the ability to make measurable strategic decisions in an entrepreneurial environment.

What you will do:

  • Work with the Operations Director to monitor and measure data from the TAMGA Designs online store and social media channels;
  • Build conversion funnels from sources of incoming traffic, measuring results and suggesting improvements;
  • Create weekly briefs for management on the performance of different funnels and marketing campaigns;
  • Learn about growth hacking, e-commerce analytics and user experience;

What we're looking for:

  • Student or graduate with some formal training in business strategy;
  • Proficient in excel;
  • Prior knowledge of online marketing is an asset;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Confident decision-maker;
  • Interest in using business as a force for positive change;

Financial Strategy Analyst

TAMGA is seeking a Financial Strategist who’s obsessed with transforming financial insights into strategic direction. This position is well suited to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to build and implement growth-oriented financial strategies in the real world.

What you will do:

  • Work with the Operations Director to build financial forecasts based on various growth scenarios;
  • Integrate assumptions and KPIs into our financial model to enable efficient tracking and decision making;
  • Work with the co-founders to analyse and adjust strategy based on a range of performance indicators;
  • Have the chance to build and measure a financial model for a fast-growing start-up;

What we're looking for:

  • Student or graduate of a finance-related programme;
  • Highly proficient in excel, with knowledge of accounting principles;
  • Interest in business strategy at an executive level;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Confident decision-maker;
  • Interest in using business as a force for positive change;
